Brad Campbell, B.Comm, MHSA
President, CSI Brad is President of CSI Consultancy, bringing more than 25 years of senior health care experience to the company. In addition to providing overall direction to the company’s operations and overseeing all consulting assignments, Brad works directly with clients in the areas of project management, strategic and regional planning, performance improvement, process redesign, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining CSI Consultancy, Brad was Associate Director of the Hay Health Care Consulting Group where he led the practice’s strategic planning assignments across the country. Brad also had regional responsibilities, leading most of Hay’s assignments in British Columbia. Prior to entering consulting, Brad worked at Vancouver Hospital & Health Sciences Centre, where he was Corporate Director, Strategic Initiatives. He has also worked for Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto, University Hospital in Vancouver, the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, and the Halifax Infirmary Hospital in Halifax, NS. Brad holds a Masters in Health Services Administration degree as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He received both of his degrees from Dalhousie University. |
Katherine W. Vestal, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President Kathie is Executive Vice President and a Principal with CSI, leading consulting assignments in the US and supporting Canadian clients in the areas of strategy development, work innovation and operations analysis and improvement. Kathie is an accomplished senior executive with extensive leadership experience in healthcare and a broad array of business skills. She is also currently the Vice Chair of Catholic Health Partners and is Chair designate for 2014-2017. Her successful career has included positions as senior executive of hospital operations, managing partner in multinational healthcare consulting practices, and is an active member of university faculty. Prior to entering consulting in 1990, Kathie held numerous senior positions in health care including executive positions at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago and the Memorial Hermann Hospital system in Houston, Texas. As a consultant, Kathie led the academic health sciences centres consulting practice for Cap Gemini Ernst and Young and was the worldwide leader for the Hay Healthcare consulting practice, focusing on work redesign and operations improvement. Kathie earned her Ph. D. in business management from Texas A&M University. She also holds an MSN and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed post-doctoral studies in economics and was a Johnson & Johnson Fellow at the Wharton School of Finance. Kathie is a Fellow in the Academy of Nursing, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and was an Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award. |
Nash Syed, Industrial Engineer, MBA
Senior Vice President Nash is Senior Vice President and Partner with CSI Consultancy, leading our Solutions Engineering practice. Nash has conducted and led our model redesign, strategic plan and implementation work. In addition, Nash has led a number of strategic and business planning exercises in addition to over 120 redesign consulting engagements for clinical and administrative processes that include both assessment and implementation. Nash was previously an Engagement Manager at Courtyard Group and prior to that, the Manager of Solutions Engineering at HealthLink and a Senior Consultant at the HayGroup. He has helped a number of health related organizations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of critical processes by improving how people, technology, process and systems work together. Nash has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration with a specialization in Health Services and Information Systems. |
